Rae reads... Lost (Arielle Lockley series book 2) by Elle Field

About the book:

Arielle is back! OK, she’s not on her way to becoming the next Coco Chanel, her childhood dream, but she is one way step closer to running her very own shop with her business partner, Felicity.

She’s also planning her perfect romantic wedding to fiancé, Piers, and Arielle is starting to believe that she’s finally found her place in the world... Of course life is never that straightforward.

With a new-found foe interfering with her shop decisions, not to mention haughty wedding planners and loved ones facing personal struggles, will Arielle figure out what's important before all is lost?

My thoughts:

Lost is the second book in the Arielle Lockley series however I wouldn't say you had to necessarily read Kept first. However I am sure after reading Lost you will want to see how everything began. It really is worth following Arielle on her journey right from the beginning.

Arielle is a very interesting character she can be strong at times but also a little unsure. It was good to see her make mistakes but to also see her mature and to take ownership of any mistakes she did make. It was great to catch up with all of the characters from Kept. I am still a big fan of Ob and I loved the addition of Tabitha as a more involved character.

The story moved at a brisk pace and I found myself near the end of the book in no time. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between Arielle and all of the characters. I have to admit I may have enjoyed Lost slightly more than Kept. However I think this is mainly because I knew the characters and it was like catching up with old friends. All I can say about the ending is wow, I have to read the next book asap!

Overall:

The Arielle Lockley series just gets better and better!

Lost is entertaining and witty with some great characters.

Five stars from me!

Thank you to Elle Field who kindly sent me a copy to read and review. This is my honest opinion.
