The Inheritance by Angie Coleman @aria_fiction #Review

Thank you for joining me on the blog tour for The Inheritance by Angie Coleman. I have my review to share with you today. First of all though let's take a look at the description for the book...

About the book
What happens when you are forced to live and work with your worst enemy? A feisty romance perfect for fans of Lindsey Kelk and Lucy Diamond.

Twenty-four-year-old Ashley Morgan thinks her future is guaranteed when she takes over the reins of her family business. What could go wrong?

But when her father decides to give the job to Jamie Standley, his right-hand man, Ashley feels cheated and breaks off all ties with her father.

Three years later at the reading of her late father's Will, she discovers to her horror that Jamie will continue to be director of Morgan & Hall, while she will only receive a small share in the business. But on one condition: that Ashley and Jamie work together and live under the same roof for a whole year...

Once again Ashley feels betrayed and cheated. To her, Jamie is an impostor and she is determined to make him pay. But forced cohabitation can sometimes have unpredictable consequences...

My Review

As soon as I read the description for this book I knew I had to read it, it sounded fun and light hearted which I was just in the mood for. So what did I think...

I'm going to start with the characters namely Ashley as I think she falls firmly into the marmite category. She could be a little infuriating at times but it definitely made her an entertaining character! I think that even though she isn't a 100% likeable this doesn't impact on the story too much. I like to see characters have flaws and let's be honest Ashley does have them. I did however love the sparring and fireworks that went off whenever Ashley and Jamie started arguing.

The plot is easy to digest and there is no complicated story so it's easy to sit back and relax with. I managed to whip through this book very quickly. It's the perfect book to sink into and just enjoy the characters fun and entertaining lives. There were some funny moments throughout and this definitely helped keep things light.

Fun and light hearted!

Thank you to Aria Fiction & Netgalley for my copy. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.
