The description for this book had me well and truly intrigued and as soon as I started reading I became even more curious as to what had happened to the girls. With snippets of information slowly revealed I couldn't help but become even more interested and involved in the story. Both Kitty and Alison are compelling characters especially as I got to know them but I think it was Kitty who maybe held my interest more to begin with. I guess it was maybe due to the fact that her character is more of a mystery as she has no recollection of the events other than certain feelings every so often. Also because as the reader you get to meet the real Kitty and not someone who's voice is unable to be heard by everyone else.
I couldn't wait to discover the truth and I was kept on my toes all the way through the many twists and turns that Blood Sisters takes. I found that the entire story moved at a pretty good pace with the plot moving along quickly and always throwing in a new revelation or tense moment. I actually enjoyed the alternating chapters from both Kitty and Alison's point of view as it felt natural to hear from both viewpoints. They were two distinct characters so it made the book even more engaging as you get to see the characters develop over the duration of the book. There are lies, mystery, a little suspense and plenty of twists and turns that kept me hooked.
A compelling story that drew me right in!

About the author
Jane Corry is a former magazine journalist who spent three years working as the writer-in-residence of a high security prison for men. She had never been inside a jail before and this often hair-raising experience helped inspire her debut psychological thriller, the Sunday Times bestseller My Husband’s Wife.
Jane is a regular life story judge for the Koestler Awards given to prisoners for art and writing. Until recently, Jane was a tutor in creative writing at Oxford University, and she now runs writing workshops in her local area of Devon and speaks at literary festivals all over the world. She has three grown up children and writes the ‘Diary of a First-Time Grandmother’ column for the Daily Telegraph.
