It's safe to say that I was pretty excited to be reading the next book in the Conwenna Cove series but on one hand also disappointed that it was the final book! So after getting cosy with a blanket, cup of tea and a couple of biscuits I settled down to read Forever at Conwenna Cove. The first thing I will mention is that you know when an author has a wonderful way with words when I'm not even past the first chapter and I end up getting all teary eyed. Darcie Boleyn writes with emotion, heart and a whole lot of love that will grab hold of you until the very last page.

I said earlier that I couldn't wait to pick up this book and revisit Conwenna Cove, the whole series has been a real delight. Conwenna Cove for me has oodles of charm it is a hopeful, healing place and has an almost magical ability to pull the reader right in. It was lovely to catch up with everyone from the previous books however don't worry as this book easily works as a standalone. I will say that if you do get chance then the whole series is definitely worth reading. I couldn't help but appreciate the warmth of the story and I found myself smiling away to myself throughout.

Zoe and Nate are characters who you can get fully behind and I was rooting for them all the way. I loved how they began a tentative friendship but with a little sprinkling of romance just trying to break through the surface. I have to admit to falling for Nate a little myself and a certain tattoo! There are some wonderful themes in this story about healing, learning to trust and also about following your dreams. Of course last but not least a special mention has to go to the wonderful greyhounds that give this story a lovely little extra special sparkle.

Forever at Conwenna Cove is an uplifting and beautiful story!

Five stars from me!

With thanks to Ellie at Canelo for my copy. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.

Darcie Boleyn has a huge heart and is a real softy. She never fails to cry at books and movies, whether ending is happy or not. Darcie is in possession of an overactive imagination that often keeps her awake at night. Darcie fell in love in New York, got married in the snow, rescues uncoordinated greyhounds and can usually be found reading or typing away on her laptop.
