This Could Change Everything by Jill Mansell @JillMansell #BlogTour @headlinepg @annecater #Review

I'm so thrilled to be taking part in the blog tour for This Could Change Everything by Jill Mansell and sharing my review today. First of all let's take a look at the description for the book...

If Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that went viral - she'd never have
found out just how much life there is to be lived...

On the one hand, if Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that only her best friend was meant to see - then she'd still be living like an actual proper grown-up, tucked up with Paul in his picture-perfect cottage, maybe even planning their wedding...

On the other hand (if her true feelings hadn't accidentally taken the internet by storm that is) she never would have met Zillah and Conor - not to mention Lucas. And she'd never have found out just how much life there is to be lived...

I'm not sure where to start other than to say that I adored this book! Everything about this story held my attention, if there was ever a book to cheer you up then this would be it. I couldn't stop smiling and even though there were emotional moments it always felt as if there was a wonderful hopeful feeling there too.

The writing is beautiful and I love how Jill Mansell always creates characters that I can connect with. They are realistic and engaging pulling you into their individual stories until by the end of the book you feel as if you are old friends. It would be so difficult to pick a favourite character however a special mention has to go to Zillah who is such a fabulous character one that is instantly likeable. It was so much fun seeing this character bring everyone together along with finding out her back story.

This Could Change Everything is so much more than a romance it's about friendship, life and about the mistakes we sometimes make. How showing kindness can have far reaching consequences that often brought a tear to my eye while reading. Then it all balances out with warmth and humour so one minute I would be feeling emotional then in the next smiling away to myself.

The whole story had a beautiful charm and I loved seeing how certain things happened to lead the characters on a different path to the one they were on. If you are in the mood for an uplifting and positive reading experience then I wholeheartedly recommend this story.

Beautiful, charming and a complete joy to read!

Five stars from me!

With thanks to Anne Cater and Headline for my copy.

Jill started writing fiction while working in the NHS, after she read a magazine article that inspired her to join a local creative writing class. Her first book was published in 1991 and she is now a full-time novelist. She is one of the few who still write their books by hand, like a leftover from the dark ages.
