Review - A Christmas Kiss by Vicky Pattison

About the book:

Amber Raey is working all the hours God sends as assistant to one of the country's top fashion designers, and her boss is a complete nightmare. Amber's dream is to launch her own fashion line one day so, for the time being, she just has to grin and bear it. And then opportunity comes knocking and Amber's suddenly on the fast track to the top.

The parties, the glamour, a whirlwind romance - Amber loves every second of her new life. But there's more to this world than its glossy exterior suggests, and when a face from Amber's past reappears, she finds herself in real trouble. With Christmas fast approaching, Amber is drifting further and further away from her family and friends. Can she get her life back on track before it's too late for a merry Christmas?

My Review

Amber was instantly likeable with her witty and down to earth personality. Jess and Tom were great as her best friends I loved their interactions with each other. All of the characters were well written and had distinct personalities. Jamie and Brandon are the love interests but will Amber get her happy ever after and who with?

The story moves at a good pace and I loved reading all about Amber, her family and friends. There were some really fun and entertaining moments throughout the book. I found myself pretty much smiling the whole way through this story.

Vicky Pattison has done a great job of bringing Amber and her story to life. If you are after a witty, fun and flirty read then look no further. Get yourself settled in a comfy chair and enjoy!

Four stars from me!
