No Way Back by Kelly Florentia @kellyflorentia #Review @urbanebooks

When two eligible and attractive men are vying for your heart, it should be the perfect dilemma...

Audrey Fox has been dumped by her unreliable fiancé Nick Byrne just days before the wedding. Heartbroken and confused, the last thing she expects when she jumps on a plane to convalesce in Cyprus is romance. But a chance meeting with handsome entrepreneur and father-of-one Daniel Taylor weaves her into a dating game she's not sure she's ready for. Audrey's life is thrown into further turmoil when she discovers on her return to London that Nick has been involved in a serious motorcycle accident that's left him in intensive care. Distraught yet determined to look to the future, Audrey must make a decision - follow her heart or listen to well-meaning advice from family and friends?

Because sometimes, no matter what, it's the people that we love who can hurt us the most...

What a tangled web our lives can be and No Way Back shows this perfectly. There are so many ups and downs in Audrey's life and I really enjoyed the journey that her character goes on. It was so easy to become wrapped up in Audrey's ever increasingly complicated life. I kept hoping that things would become that little bit clearer for her and she would find her happy ending.

There are a few twists contained in this story and they really helped to keep things interesting and I loved that I was surprised along the way too. There is a great selection of characters each with different personalities who mean different things to Audrey's character. When you really get into the story it shows that everyone has secrets and you may not know everyone as well as you think you do. Things happen that can change people sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse and you get to experience this with all of the characters while reading No Way Back.

Nick and Daniel are a great contrast and I constantly kept changing my mind about these two which goes to show how well Kelly Florentia has written them. Audrey has to adapt to recent events which is going to be difficult for anyone. Especially when you imagined your life going in one direction only for it to be drastically altered.

I have to quickly mention the cover too as it really is pretty fabulous! Packed full of surprises and really interesting characters who have their flaws and a suitcase full of emotional baggage. No Way Back manages to move quickly and fluidly keeping my attention right to the very end. I cannot wait to find out what is in store for Audrey next.

No Way Back has a brilliant amount of drama, secrets and lies!

With thanks to Kelly Florentia & Urbane Publications for my copy. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.

I’ve always enjoyed writing and was a bit of a poet when I was younger. I’ve still got some of my poems stuffed in a drawer somewhere! I’m a north London girl. I was born and raised in the area, where I continue to live with my husband Joe, and where my novels No Way Back and The Magic Touch are set.
My love affair with writing fiction began when I sold my first story to Best magazine many years ago. The publication gave me a huge boost and turned me into a keen short story writer. My shorts stories have now been published in women’s magazines worldwide and have been featured in several charity anthologies. My short story collection To Tell a Tale or Two is available to download from Amazon.
I usually write at my desktop in my office but, being a coffee lover, I’ll often be found in a local café editing over an americano or two, especially when I’m working on a novel or a short story. Yes, it can get quite busy and noisy in my local coffee shop, but I find that I can switch off from the surrounding noise once I’m involved in a plot, and I seem to get more work done when I’m away from home distractions. And social  media! Plus I get to do lots of people watching.
