SIMPLY ANNA:(Free short story on Amazon):

After reading book one in the Chantelle Rose Series I was looking forward to seeing what would happen next in Chantelle's life. It's safe to say that there is plenty of drama that easily kept me entertained especially as things got even more confusing for Chantelle. I would probably suggest reading the first book in the series just so you get a better feeling for character history. However events from the first book are explained so don't worry too much if you start with this book. Chantelle is a complicated character with flaws but also has a real likeable side that makes you invested in her story. I loved the addition of Valentina to the book as it added an extra depth and it was lovely to see her story play out too.

There are a few surprises within the story to keep things interesting but what I probably enjoyed the most was finding out about Valentina's life. It was great to see this done via diary and letters which I thought was an interesting and effective way of getting her story across. The pacing of the book was really good and I ended up reading it over two evenings as I just had to see how things would turn out for Chantelle!

Valentina will take you on quite an adventure, there are secrets from the past and a few surprises all wrapped up in a fun and lively story!

Four stars from me!

With thanks to Jenny at Neverland Blog Tours for my copy.
