Review - Taste of Romance Anthology

Taste of Romance

Love is a box of chocolates – treat yourself to a delicious assortment of sixteen romance flavours from new and established authors.
Firefighter Ryan Harper is a dark chocolate-coated orange cream. His rich, bitter shell hides a sweet and sumptuous centre that satisfies long after the final bite.
Detective Colt Callaghan is chilli-cherry swirl in decadent milk chocolate. He hides behind a gruff exterior, but underneath he’s sexy and sweet, with a shock of spice when you least expect it.
Space Engineer Simon Dubois is a handmade truffle. Decadent and Indulgent. Dark chocolate caressing a ganache infused with earthy, sensuous Armagnac, and sweet succulent smoked pimento. A fusion of flavor, a frission of pleasure.
Taste of Romance is a collection of love stories and romance fiction from members of the Melbourne Romance Writers Guild. The anthology spans many facets of romance, from contemporary to historical, romcom to suspense, with heat levels ranging from sweet to erotic. These works are a celebration of the past 26 years of encouragement and support the Guild has given to romance authors as they journey toward publication and beyond.

My Review
I loved that the stories were all so different this kept my interest and made reading this anthology in one go more entertaining. Although to be honest this book would be perfect for putting down and picking back up whenever you get a spare minute to read.
Whether you are looking for a sweet romance right through to something more steamy everything is covered within this book. Some of the stories I got swept away with and would have definitely loved a longer story. There were a range of different characters so every story was unique. With stories based on time travel to set in space along with more every day settings there is a story for everyone to enjoy.

It would be hard to pick a favourite story but I will pick three just as examples.

Operation Marriage Restoration by Charmaine Ross - Just because there was some comical moments in this story that could happen to anyone.

Light in the Snow by Samara Parish - I love historical romance so this was perfect.
Tree Love by Cassandra O'Leary - I loved the second chance romance in this story.
A great collection of romance from sweet right through to sizzling!
Five stars from me!
Thank you to Cassandra O'Leary for my copy. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.
