One Night Under the Mistletoe by Laurie Benson #Review @LaurieBwrites

 ARC received from author.

ONE NIGHT UNDER THE MISTLETOE is part of the Convenient Christmas Brides anthology and the second story in The Sommersby Brides trilogy.
In The Captain’s Christmas Journey, by Carla Kelly, Captain Everard is escorting Verity to her governess job and for propriety’s sake that means a convenient engagement! In Louise Allen’s The Viscount’s Yuletide Betrothal Eleanor advertises for a ‘suitable’ gentleman to pose as her betrothed over Christmas. And in Laurie Benson’s One Night Under the Mistletoe, one surprising encounter unfortunately leads Lady Juliet Sommersby to a marriage of convenience with the man who broke her heart years ago, Lord Montague Pearce…

I will be reviewing One Night Under the Mistletoe by Laurie Benson from the Convenient Christmas Brides Anthology today. So what did I think...

What a charming, flirty and fabulous short story this is. I loved the interactions between Juliet and Monty, even in a short space of time I became attached to them and their story. With broken hearts in the past that make things pretty messy. I was hoping that they would find their happy ever after!

This is the second story in a series but don’t let that put you off as it can be easily read as a standalone.

Laurie Benson always creates the most engaging characters and I loved seeing Juliet and Monty reconnect even if there were clashes and sparks flying along the way. With a wonderful connection between them that made for such an entertaining story. Even though this is a novella there is so much packed into it including a delightfully festive theme. I didn’t want to put this book down and I ended up reading it in one go!

If you are looking for a sweet, fun and romantic story then look no further!

With thanks to Laurie Benson for my copy.
